The paints can be mixed to create a wider range of shades. The paints can be diluted with water to make pale colours Paint Me colours are opaque so painting blue on top of yellow, for example, with give a finished colour of green.
Paint Me colours appear subdued on paper but when transferred to fabric become very bright and vibrant
What to Print onto
For the most vibrant colours use 100% polyester.
Paint Me paints can be successfully printed onto polyester mixed fabrics too. The higher the polyester content, the more vibrant the printed colours will be. Paint Me paints can be printed onto natural fibres such as cotton and silk but the finished effect is pale and is not colourfast. In addition to plain fabric Paint Me paints can be printed onto any polyester surface including T-shirts and items with a polyester finish such as coasters and placemats, jigsaws, fridge magnets.
